 Small Unit Tactics

I found this pretty interesting so I figured I'd share it with you guys. Small Unit Tactics

The idea is to form a small squad (2 or 3 people) that even out each others advantages and disadvantages. For example, pairing up a sniper with an AR guy. Or an LMG guy with two SMG guys.

Whenever I play domination by myself I tend to rush a lot since with a marathon/lighweight/silenced smg class. half of the time that i get to the capture point I can usually capture it. The other half I get killed by some random dude. I think that if two guys rushed the capture point with a third guy acting as support from outside the capture point (be it sniper or LMG) the success rate would be pretty high.

I think the same would be said for defending a point. In some maps like underpass I find it best to use an LMG to defend a point, if the guy pops in front of me there's no way he's coming through. The only way they can get to me is if they flank me, but if there was an smg guy running "patrolling" the flanking routes this would make being flanked that much harder.

THis is a good idea. it is, in fact, the exact idea i had at school today.

Coincidence?

I, myself, would be the Ar Guy. or maybe the Demolitions Expert (High Explosives class FTW).

Good ideas.
being in a group. is usually better for staying alive or defending a point.

In objective games I like being the LMG guy. Or if needed I can rush with an smg/rushing class... I especially enjoy leaving c4 in domination capture points for some easy kills, this is pretty easy to do with a rushing class. You basically run in, capture, leave a c4 present for the enemy, and get the hell out.
